What is Botox?
Botox is a brand of botulinum toxin type A medicine, used to temporarily relax facial muscles, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and preventing further wrinkles appearing.
What is Botox used for?
Botox is most commonly used in the facial area but can also be applied to the neck, or to prevent teeth grinding or excessive sweating.
Should I get Botox?
You should only consider Botox if you are experiencing the first signs of aging. Whilst Botox doesn’t fill in fine lines and wrinkles, but relaxing muscles it prevents lines from deepening and can soften what is already there. It’s being used by younger clientele to prevent the formation of fine lines and wrinkles.
